The most critical challenge was migrating over 2,000 product items from the legacy store while maintaining absolute data integrity. The old system's data structure was significantly different from Shopify’s format, leading to inconsistencies in product descriptions, pricing variants, and image mapping. Ensuring that thousands of complex data points—such as glove sizes, colors, and brands—were correctly aligned without manual entry errors was a massive undertaking.
